ATSA test-day checklist

Use with your official invitation and confirmation. Check items here or on paper; fill in the appointment details by hand after printing.

Before booking

Read the authorization email and record the testing window.
Resolve any account-name or ID questions; arrange accommodations first if needed.
If considering a retest, review the prior-result policy before deciding.

After booking

Save the confirmation and copy the appointment details above.
Calendar the change deadline: at least 48 hours before the appointment.
Plan the route, parking or transit, departure time, and time away from work or school.
If rescheduling, finish the request and check for the new confirmation email.

Before leaving home

Pack two valid physical IDs: primary government ID with photo and signature; secondary with photo or signature. Check matching names and Policy 1S.
Recheck the center address and reporting time in the confirmation.
Make time to rest and eat before testing; leave with a travel buffer.

At the center and afterward

Follow staff instructions for check-in, belongings, permitted items, and breaks.
Read each section’s instructions; report any equipment or testing problem immediately.
Keep appointment records and follow the FAA application portal for results and next steps.
