Operates a global ground station network using the "Freedom" cloud-based software platform to provide seamless, automated satellite communications and data management as a service. In July 2025 the parent company of satellite maker York Space Systems agreed to acquire ATLAS, which continues to operate under its own brand from Traverse City, Michigan.
